Friends of Elvis annual fan convention Aug. 2

Elvis Presley fans will gather at the Russell O. Brachman School, 600 Barnegat Blvd. North, Barnegat,NJ, for the summer 2008 Friends of Elvis Convention for Charity, 1-4 p.m. Aug. 2. The event will feature live concerts by local Elvis tribute artists and Elvis memorabilia vendors. Proceeds from the tickets, which are $15 per person at the door, will benefit the Ocean County ARC. Special guest performers will include Gene Dinapoli, Johnny P and Ruben Castillo. All are welcome to attend.
