Mike Nova, Magna Carta, Lincoln, 29/8/8

Well i turned up at 20.35 & headed straight for the bar & got meself a pint of Fosters, Mikes gear was all set up in the corner of the pub, just right next to the main door, i sat outside & waited for him to appear, at around 20.55 i saw him through the main window coming down the stairs in his Elvis army gear & his Elvis sideburns, he went to the bar & i immediatly went in & introduced myself, we had a 5 min chat & he was on, Mike i have to say you have a great voice & your moves r brilliant, from your 1st song Return to Sender to your last American Trilogy, everybody had a great night, there wasn't many in at the beginning, but with the door open & the punters passing by, i was watching them through the window, they were singing & dancing in the street, unbelievable, but the pub got full pretty quickly, with young & old enjoying every song & move, it was great to meet you Mike, & thanx for doing Steamroller Blues for my birthday (didn't know he was gonna do that) keep on rockin mate, Nobby loved you by the way, Lincolns no1 Elvis fan he is 68 years of age & still shaking his legs, the video footage i took on my phone came out naff & some of the pictures were dark, but here r 2 that came out a bit better, me & you & i cant forget Nobby, cheers Mike all the best mate.
